Meshes

Meshes is an immersive multimedia installation that explores the spaces between senses. The labyrinthian layout uses manipulated light and sound to weave our threads of perception into an augmented space – one that betrays the balance between sensorial clarity and incoherence.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Anna Semenoff is a recent sculpture graduate from the Alberta University of the Arts. Her research takes interest in the study of structures and systems of perception, and the way that they influence our understanding of our constructed reality. Employing a minimal aesthetic, her work utilizes sculpture and installation as an immersive medium, both giving rise to a self-awareness regarding the nature of perception.

Jordan Schinkel is a visual artist interested in suspended states of searching and anticipation. He uses processes of layering and obscuring fragmented images and moments to evoke imminence and suggest presence. He makes video installations and drawings.
