The largely solo effort of Lethbridge's Jeff King, the first Peace For Bombs album was recorded in December 2009. This punchy EP embraces a fuzzy, anthemic power-pop sound, with a distorted rhythm section composed of casio keyboards. Ten years later, the second Peace For Bombs EP Another Downer was released, retaining the same melodic sensibilities and depressive subject matter, though this time enlisting Open Channels' Clayton Smith on drums.
