Saskatoon’s Slow Down Molasses combines bass-heavy post-punk energy with forays into melodic indie. Then, the band adds a dash of purposeful feedback for good measure. Slow Down Molasses is comfortable with playing many genres, and the newest release Minor Deaths provides dashes of punky sunshine among lingering thrashing guitar riffs.
