Montreal indie quartet Love Language is making its first stop in Calgary this year — no surprise, given it was formed in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mostly anchored by jangly guitar and robust vocals, the band’s sound has a veneer of breezy indie-pop that belies the off-kilter forays into art-rock and post-punk that follow.
