Formed last year with two self-released EPs, Brass Lip’s scrappy, straight-to-the-point pogo energy has already made huge Cowtown waves. From opening for Home Front to igniting Sled Island’s last pig roast, the spirit of ‘80s femme-fronted punk is alive and well in Calgary. It’s the kind of fast, loud, and unpolished attitude that’s been missing from modern punk.
