Rager Against the Machine: A CJSW x Sled Island Halloween Bash
The Sled Island x CJSW Halloween Bash is back on Saturday, October 31 at the #1 Royal Canadian Legion! This year, Calgary’s best Halloween party is a Rager Against the Machine!
Join us as we celebrate CJSW's 2026 Brave New Airwaves Funding Drive with two levels of fun! CJSW Campus & Community Radio is partnering with Sled Island to present some of your favourite local bands covering songs of rebellion and uprising, a video dance party, a drag show and more!
Don’t forget to dress up! We've got a costume contest at midnight for the Best Overall, Best Group and Worst Costumes administered by our secret guest judges. Dress in your best (or worst!) outfit for your chance to win some amazing swag! Coat check service will also be available.
This year’s party will feature refreshments courtesy of Annex Ales celebrating this year's Funding Drive season and Brave New Airwaves theme. Try a Loud Mouth Euro Lager and support CJSW at the same time, as a portion of every can sold goes to support the station. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 9 at noon MDT. This event sells out fast every year, so be sure to get your tickets early!
